Deep Plant Medicine Journey; Hapè with Lucia.

Today I sat in ceremony with Lucia, using the sacred plant medicine Hapè. Lucia holds space with mastery, calm, grounded, fully present. That gave me the safety to travel inward. I trust her completely. I entered the session with fear. But instead of resisting it, I took it by the hand. Walked with it, with courage The medicine cleared all thought. What was left was a profound place of peace. Then the visions came, and with them, insight. I saw my path, I saw that I am on the right road, the one I have chosen to walk with integrity. Walking the walk - it’s what you do when no one sees you that matters. How your business values align with who you are as a person, and the values you live by, a code not just of honour but of compassion for others. There’s no magic pill on this journey. No silver bullet. You will meet your shadow. And it’s the warrior who chooses to face the fire, heart open, scars born Too many of us men in our culture are avoidant. I know because I’ve done it. I’ve numbed out. Pushed through. Clung to the “keep going” mantra while running from doing the real work. You cannot keep that pace up forever, it will catch you. Deep, real work means proper therapy, not because you are broken, but because you strive to be the very best version of yourself for your loved ones. Men too often avoid it because they think it’s weak. It’s not, it’s outright strength. Resilience is a word I hear used very often and yet I rarely hear a definition that aligns with me. For me, resilience is truly feeling your emotions and feelings, not avoiding them, and then the level of resilience you have is an indication of how successfully you can process and integrate them properly into your tapestry of growth Resilience is not putting on a stiff upper lip and burying them - that’s a dangerous game of waca mole You can build muscle. Build businesses, that’s actually easy in comparison to what life will give to you. Nothing prepares you for fatherhood, brotherhood, or holding the sacred feminine, unless you’re building your life on truth and integrity. Walk the walk in all areas of your life. Doing the work I do has taught me that’s the very basis of who I am. And truth means integrity. Without it, nothing lasts. It’s just talk and words lost in the wind - And brotherhood is just a flimsy name “bro” for the sake of it. Strong, true Men - We have a responsibility, a damn well duty, to the younger men coming up behind us. To mentor them. To walk beside them. To model integrity, not just speak of it. I’ve seen how quickly ego can creep in, in others, and in myself. But I’ve also seen what happens when a man stays aligned, heart open, and does the work That’s the path I’m on. That’s the man I choose to be, and the plant held me as I saw the visions I needed to see. I honour this experience deeply and feel a deep level of gratitude for what Lucia does so uniquely, and skilfully I hope other Men will rise and take courage from my experience and join me on more Hapè journeys, in circle - because I feel it is time we stand deeply for those younger Men walking in our footprints. Men, you need this!
